I've been a student/practitioner of the craft since about 1982 or 83 when I was in Atlanta. I don't call myself a "High Priestess", it just doesn't feel right for me. And with Willow Lodge, EVERYONE participated and the atmosphere was "anit-hierarchical", if you will, so HP was pretty meaningless. I admit I generally gravitate to a leadership role, however. I have a lot of energy for it. I used to teach Tarot, and Beginning Wicca, and Introduction to Astrology, and as my little ad said "topics of interest to pagans and students of the occult". In recent years I've facilitated for a fairly large group, and done a lot of ritual design, as we created all our rituals "from scratch". With Lammas Fair I've been privileged to serve as priestess during the main ritual with as many as a hundred people participating in the circle. I think I'm good at it.
I've read most of what I could lay my hands on. I've taught the basics, I've read cards for friends and strangers. I've done enough charts to know my limits. I've studied runes, but not as deeply as I'd like. I have a big and beloved herb garden.
Well, I am! Intelligent sounds kind of dopey as I look at it now, but I like using my mind, it's pretty strong, I've had a good education, and I guess what I'm doing here is apologizing! Silly me!
I'd like you to be happy and healthy and intelligent and grounded too. And it would be great if you had experience and learning in the craft, and a well developed belief system, and particular interests you'd like to pursue. But if you are new to it, but ready for some level of commitment (to "the work"), I could consider that too.
